Danica Power

Danica is a High School teacher with Rocky View Schools, an author and a part-time princess with YYC Princess. She has been doing visual art in many mediums for as long as she can remember, and digital art for 3 years.

She has been fascinated with and involved in the arts since childhood; putting on plays and concerts with her brother and friends, creating visual art with whatever happened to be in the house, and singing. Always singing. She really got to explore different aspects of the art when she began studying at Willow Park Arts Centered Learning. She discovered a love for theatre and musicals, which carried on through high school and university. While she teaches primarily French and Social Studies, she truly enjoyed teaching grade 3 art, loves teaching Drama, and is hoping to soon be offering a Creative Writing course at her school.

When she's not teaching, Danica loves to write and dance, spend time in the sunshine and play Dungeons & Dragons with her husband and friends!"
