Janice Dahlberg began her formal education in music as a piano major with vocal and choral collaboration at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She holds a diploma in piano performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Calgary. She is an experienced chamber musician who teaches piano and piano pedagogy. Her activities include serving as master class clinician, festival adjudicator, and book reviewer. She sings with the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus. In addition to teaching from her studio, she is Vice President, Secretary, and Assistant Artistic Director of the Calgary Arts Summer School. She has been president of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association, both provincial and local branch, and has served as first delegate to The Canadian Federation of Teachers of Music. She has volunteered as Master Class Co-Coordinator for the Honens International Piano Competition. She is Past President of the RCM Alumni, Calgary Chapter.
