Karen Scarlett

Karen Scarlett grew up fifth-generation on the family dairy farm west of Innisfail, Alberta and has made art since childhood. 

Scarlett is a multidisciplinary artist and has had a variety of professional experiences that make her a fit with CASSA.

Once Scarlett was considered by the industry as a top Canadian make-up artist,  received a “Top 40 Under 40” nod from Calgary Magazine and has created art installations for hotel groups around the world. 

Currently, Scarlett   spends most time consulting and working on fine and public art, instructing and creating murals including leading community groups to create a vision for their unique space.

Karen spends her time in Central Alberta, putting art wherever she can.
