Our former Cassa Adult Piano student, David Bertram, has shared an exciting invitation for all Cassa Musical Arts instructors and participants. David is now singing barbershop with Calgary-based vocal ensemble Acappella Road, and he’s been loving every moment — creating art through harmony, resonance, and collaboration.

On June 4, 2026, Acappella Road will host a very special concert featuring the legendary Swedish vocal group The Real Group in a rare collaborative performance right here in Calgary. For more than 40 years, The Real Group has helped shape modern a cappella music worldwide, and Acappella Road is thrilled to share the stage with them for this unforgettable evening.

The concert will take place at the Bella Concert Hall at Mount Royal University, bringing a vibrant celebration of a cappella music to our city.
