At Cassa Musical Arts, we believe every student should have the opportunity to discover their potential, grow as a musician, and experience the joy of learning and performing in a supportive fine arts community.
Our scholarship and bursary programs help make these opportunities possible by recognizing achievement, celebrating musical growth, and providing financial assistance to students who may otherwise face barriers to participation.

Scholarships and Awards
Marissa Staddon Memorial Scholarship Fund
This $150 scholarship is awarded annually to the most outstanding Cassa Piano Immersive participant, honouring Marissa Staddon’s legacy and celebrating exceptional dedication, talent, and achievement.
Dorothea Johanson Memorial Fund
This $150 scholarship is awarded annually to the Cassa Piano Immersive student who demonstrates the most improvement throughout the program. Dorothea Johanson was a longtime supporter of Cassa’s summer programs, serving as a volunteer, teacher, and member of the Cassa Board of Directors.
Dr. Bell Distinguished Musicianship Award
Introduced in 2026, this $150 award recognizes a student who consistently demonstrates exceptional musicianship throughout their performance and learning journey at Cassa Piano Immersive.
ARMTA Recognition Fund
These awards recognize exceptional Cassa students who, in the opinion of their instructors, demonstrate outstanding promise and dedication to success and currently study with an ARMTA member. The awards total $500.
